The PowerPact ® Advantage
I-Line II busways are constructed in three-pole and four-pole full neutral configurations for system voltages to 600 volts and are rated to allow 100% of the current to flow continuously.
Ideal for service entrance equipment or downstream distribution panels in the electrical system of a large commercial or industrial facility. The I-Line™ power distribution panelboard features Schneider Electric's unique circuit breaker engagement system and is used to feed NQ and NF lighting and appliance panelboards. I-Line panelboards are capable of feeding large motor loads and are utilized in most every market segment.
This bulletin provides instructions for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) mounting of a single or double row Square D™ brand QED I-Line™ panel in an enclosure. It is not intended for field installation in existing facilities. Each of the catalog numbers listed in this instruction bulletin has an Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listed component mark on it. The OEM I-Line interiors manufactured by Schneider Electric are covered in the Square D UL file E186410 Volume 1, Section 2. The mounting requirements for single and double row QED I-Line panels in this bulletin represent minimum Schneider Electric standards. Schneider Electric recommends that tests be conducted per UL 891 for any variation from these standards. All bus bars are 0.25-inch (6 mm) thick copper. The maximum short-circuit current rating in rms symmetrical amperes is 200,000 A/240 or 480 Vac, or 100,000 A/600 Vac. The actual short-circuit current rating is limited to the lowest short-circuit current rating of any device installed on the panel or listed series connected devices. Do not mount lugs directly to the panel center feed connectors unless the connectors are braced and supported per UL 891. All OEM connectors, through bus bracing, and supports must comply with UL 891 short-circuit requirements.
